Basil Pea pesto is the spring condiment that we all deserve. It’s fresh, full of flavor and can be topped on everything from bruschetta to mac and cheese. Yes, mac and cheese is a total game changer. I partnered with Modern Table Meals to create some simple recipes to go along with their Lentil Mac and Cheese. This pea pesto adorned their mac and cheese and it was so perfectly delicious.
Pea and basil with a hint of lemon just tastes like Spring. This is a quick recipe, through everything in a food processor or blender. I love using my mini food processor for recipes like this one. This makes about a cup of pesto, store in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze or toss in some mac and cheese and consume now.
